Oh, where do I even begin? When Zaira and Jerry reached out to celebrate their incredible ten-year journey together, I knew it had to be something truly special. And let me tell you, we found just the perfect spot: the breathtaking Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Mears, Michigan. This stunning location had been a bucket-list photoshoot dream of mine for over three years, so when the opportunity arose to make the trip to northern Michigan, I jumped at the chance!
Barefoot and brimming with excitement, we hiked uphill to the dunes—woof, my feet are still sore! But every step was worth it the moment we reached the top. The view was absolutely mind-blowing, exceeding all our expectations. The dunes stretched out for miles, creating an almost otherworldly landscape that transported us to a different planet entirely. It was pure magic.
For nearly three hours, we frolicked, played, and captured the essence of Zaira and Jerry’s carefree personalities. Their love and joy were palpable, and it was a true privilege to document their story in such a unique and stunning setting. Living in the moment, we soaked in this once-in-a-lifetime experience together, creating memories that will last forever.
